Onshore Wind Asset Manager

One of the UK's leading renewable energy companies are looking for an Onshore Wind Asset Manager to work from one of their offices within the UK.
 
Their portfolio includes both onshore and offshore wind farms, hydroelectric power plants, and biomass.
 
They are currently seeking to recruit an Asset Manager to join a team responsible for the commercial aspects of their onshore wind farms.
 
The main purpose of the job is to deal with the commercial management of this company’s onshore wind farms.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
 
Asset management to optimise income and investment over the life of the assets
Representing the company with their lenders and their advisers, contractors, land owners and other counterparties
Contract management and administration, approving and expediting payments, procurement and budgeting
Commercial lead on operational disputes and warranty claims
Financial management of assets and the portfolio, including P&L and cash flow
Financial and operational reporting
Liaising with the shareholders, advisors and management team
Further development of systems and procedures for managing service provision under third party agreements, and associated risks
Co-ordination of service provision from internal teams based at various sites, including managing the regular internal interfaces

Well organised, with a methodical approach to work and detail conscious
Be highly motivated and have the ability to work to project deadlines
Be commercially astute and have experience of working with contracts
Able to summarise detailed technical issues and present them to a non-technical audience
Numerate and able to work with spreadsheets
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be conscientious and committed to high standards of work
 
Knowledge and Skills:
 
Knowledge of commercial arrangements in UK generation industry essential
Appreciation of wind farm technology and O&M
Engineering or business qualification
