At present I have been asked by a leading Submarine Cables Company with a €1 billion plus turnover to look for a Marine Engineer for a staff role in Western Germany.
Your tasks: *Support and technical guidance of Engineering, procurement, sales and project management on all technical aspects of Marine Engineering (laying vessels, chartering, installation tools, Post Burial Survey)
*Hiring of subcontractors and consultants in Marine Engineering.
*Development of standards and policies on issues concerning the marine engineering
*Support for Sales and Project Management in Risk Management
*Support of the finance department
Your profile:
A degree in shipbuilding, hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering, earth science or industrial engineering
Experience in the submarine cable - Oil and gas, ship charter, or installation industry
Business communication in German and in English
High level of commitment and willingness to travel
Ability to work independently
Deep understanding of processes and procedures, particularly in project business
