Our client is one the leading developers on onshore projects within the UK wind sector with a proven track record on consented projects spanning over 15 years. They are looking to appoint an experienced Development Project Manager to manage the on-going development of projects within their portfolio at varying stages of the Development process.
The Role
- Manage the development of existing portfolio from identification to consent
- Negotiation with land owners including contractual terms for JV’s and partnerships
- Manage and negotiation with all key stakeholders
- Work closely with the Development Director to devise successful development strategies
- Select and manage all external consultants engaged in specific work for the organisation
- Management of specific project budgets
The Requirements
- Experience of developing wind farms in the UK through life cycle
- Ideally the successful candidate will have professional qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science
- Experience in dealing with planning authorities and stakeholders
- Familiar with industry software packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills
