Position of Personnel: Offshore Installation Manager Cable
Job Description:
-Analyze and recommend offshore installation and logistics concepts
-Optimize offshore installation and logistics concepts
-Charter installation vessels inclusive support vessels and barges
-Prepare ITT documents and Employer's Requirements - Technical Requirements
-Negotiate and recommend offshore installation contracts inclusive Marine Warranty Surveyor
-Manage and coordinate offshore installation contracts and activities
-Manage client's reps within individual areas
-Ensure contractor's delivery and own review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
-Carry out HAZID/HAZOP for installation design and offshore installation operations
-Analyze and optimize installation procedures prior to and during installation
-Manage the Marine Warranty Surveyor
-Coordinate and attend inspections of vessels provided to the projects
-Proactively ensure that offshore installation works are carried out based on balanced contracts and
-that they are optimized regarding time, costs and QHSE
-Establish and manage sub-project organization/groups, inclusive division/delegation of responsibility for installation
-Inform the Electrical Manager of all significant technical issues, in particular risks, and develop contingency plans
-Implement lessons learnt
Qualification:minimum 10 years professional experience and with 5 years experience within Offshore cable installation.
Certificate of skill(s) are required(e.g. fire/safety/lifting).
The Consultant will be placed in the clients Project organization and shall report to the Dep. Electrical Project Manager
Conditions of Service: Full time with 5 working days per week. (10 hrs p/day)

Special Provision:
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software and mobile telephone.
Onshore Works: Client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space.
Offshore Works: The Consultant shall bring his/her own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
