Electrical Engineering & Transmissions Manager. Charlottes Villa - Virginia, USA. $130-$140k + benefits
My Client is a wind energy development company pursuing projects throughout North America. They have developed over $10 billion in operating wind facilities as well as building a national pipeline of over 5,100 megawatts
Position Overview:
Manage the Company’s multiple transmission interconnection requests located in several different RTOs and to manage various electrical engineering consultants supporting the development and design of wind energy projects.
Responsibilities:
- Managaing all transmission interconnection requests
- Determine optimal substation configurations as well as transmission and collection routes
- Coordinate electrical consultants
- Perform grid analysis
- Create and update electrical design guidelines and specifications
- Assist with electrical engineering issues
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical engineering
Core Requirements:
- Experience managing consulting engineering firms
- Experience working with ISO’s
- Willingness to relocate to Charlottes Villa Virginia

- Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
