The Carbon Trust’s Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) is a unique collaborative Research & Development initiative between the Carbon Trust and eight major international energy companies. The aim of the OWA is to reduce cost of energy by 10% through the accelerated development and commercialisation of innovative technologies, which will reduce costs and increase performance.
An Offshore Wind Delivery Associate is required to support the day-to-day programme management of the OWA activities to assure that the Carbon Trust successfully delivers the Offshore Wind Accelerator objectives.
In this varied role the Offshore Wind Delivery Associate will support the OWA Manager in developing and managing project schedules and ensure that Technical Delivery Consultants deliver on time, budget and to quality. Stakeholder management of the participants from the energy companies, innovators and designers and Technical Delivery Consultants will play also play a key part in this role along with financial processing and procurement.
To be considered for this role you will be degree educated in either a science or engineering subject with previous experience in Programme Management, Finance Processing, Contract Management, and/or Communication. Experience in the renewable energy industry (especially wind) is highly desirable.
