Onshore Windfarm Manager - O&M

Role    Onshore Windfarm Manager
Reports to  Regional Manager - Wind Operations & maintenance
Location Covering regions within Scotland
 
Key activities
 
Responsible for a number of windfarms (generally in the region of 2-3)
 
Responsibilities include;
Oversee all servicing work by Wind Turbine Generator OEMs
Climbing towers & checking work standards
Qualified for HV switching operations
Deal with all balance of plant work, and site inductions / issue of permits to work etc
 
Key skills and attributes
 
Previous experience of management of windfarms
Ability to travel to various sites (approx no more than 2 hrs from any site responsible for)
Capable of working on your own initiative.
HV switching experience / capability to learn this skill.
 
This is a site-based role with extensive travel
