One of the world's leading wind farm developers who have an expanding portfolio of projects at various stages of development around the world, is looking for a Wind Farm Development Project Manager to be based in their Glasgow office.
As part of the Scottish development team you will have responsibility for project managing the development of wind farm sites. This will involve all aspects of consenting and financial close of wind farm projects.
You will be responsible for;
Planning and co-ordinating internal and external resource as required to deliver projects including;
Engineering and technical support
Environmental Impact Assessment studies
Grid studies
consultants, commercial support and other stakeholders
Formulate and implement project development plans and manage development budgets
The ideal candidate;
Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental, engineering, planning or science based subject
Experience of developing infrastructure projects
Experience of developing large scale (20MW+) onshore wind farms is essential
Relevant experience of successfully dealing with planning authorities and other project stakeholders, including landowners, project contractors, external consultants and development partners
An aptitude for project management and leadership
Self-motivated with a keen interest in the renewable energy sector
A current UK driving license (essential)
