We are now seeking a Strategy Manager, with exceptional problem solving skills and comfortable with complex analysis, to help develop the Carbon Trust offshore renewable strategy and scope new initiatives in relation to offshore renewables. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead problem-solving effort on assigned projects
- Manage discrete projects including developing scopes of work, co-ordinating pilots and managing and working alongside contractors and/or internal teams
- Ensure effective coordination, communication and dissemination of project plans and project end products
- Deliver and support internal improvement projects
- Develop and deliver policy and market insights for internal use and external audiences
- Inform and influence Government policy on low carbon issues
- Feed into business development in terms of ideas generation and evaluation
- Be an active member of Innovation team, engaging in problem solving/supporting projects across the company
You will be degree educated in a science or engineering discipline and have gained experience in offshore renewables either through consulting or direct industry involvement. Project management experience is essential, including exposure to senior management, at either strategic management consultancy or in a corporate strategy/line management role at a blue chip corporate.
