Reporting directly to the North America CEO the successful individual will take commercial responsibility for all projects in US and Canada, as well as, projects outside these countries that originate in North America. The purpose of the role is to create and implement a sales and marketing strategy to meet company targets for wind turbine sales.
The Role
- Create and implement the sales strategy and targets according with guideless provided by the NA CEO and the CPO MD
- Lead and manage the sales engineers and commercial administration staff
- Develop, maintain and communicate in-depth knowledge on wind farm activities and opportunities ongoing in the market
- Entertain and develop contacts with all main potential buyers in the market
- Plan and implement the adequate promotion plans and strategy according with guidelines provided by the NA CEO and Corporate Marketing Director
- Supervise the structuring of commercial offers in coordination with other support areas (wind farm development, technology, etc)
- Supervise and attend if needed negotiation with customers and closings
- Monitor project and after-sales service execution in order to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain adequate reporting systems
The Requirements
- Experience at a senior managerial level in sales of industrial equipment
- Developed network of contacts in the wind sector, in either development, financing, or OME
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science, preferably complemented with a MBA
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Result-oriented, initiative, and organisational skills
- Able to work well under pressure
