Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for successfully managing the estimating of transmission and distribution line construction projects
Responsibilities:-
• Prepare complete estimates for transmission and distribution line construction projects
• Evaluate sub contractor bids
• Attend pre bid meetings
• Mentor junior estimators
• Assist in bid strategies
• Review final bids with operations team prior to submission
Education:-
BSC in Construction management or an engineering disciple
Core Requirements:-
• A minimum of 5 years experience working within the transmission and distribution industry
• Previous experience working as an estimator within the T&D construction industry
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of major estimating software’s
General Requirements
• Ability to work towards and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail
