My Client is a leading international surveying company who operate in the offshore oil, gas and renewable enegy sectors. The have a reputation for excellence and pride themsleves on being a market leader within the offshore industry

Position Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading player within the offshore industry. You will be given the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of international projects. The primary functions will be supervising the execution of all offshore survey operations provided by the company. You will oversee all survey operations ensuring that work meets the technical requirements and is completed within the given schedule and budget.


Responsibilities:
• Management of all subsea survey construction support surveys
• Management of pre survey operations including cable route surveys for the renewable energy industry
• Providing the project team and contractors with operational and technical advice
• Liaise with project stakeholders and clients
• Monitor and provide progress reports on surveying and QHSE compliance

Education:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in degree in Geomatics, hydrographic surveying or a similar related field


Core Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in offshore surveying
• A minimum of 3 years experience acting as a Project Manager
• Fluent English speaker
• Previous experience working with ROV’s
• Understanding of data acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques


General Requirements:
• Ability to work towards and meet strict deadlines
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Well rounded knowledge of various surveying techniques
• Strong report writing skills
