Communication Specialist - Smart Grid

My client is Switzerand's leading energy group that takes its responsibility towards people and the environment very seriously. As a pioneer, they are committed to a mix of technologies and are helping to shape the future of renewable energies.

Position Overview:
The role will involve taking on challenging tasks in the development of smart grids (system engineering, modeling, implementation and testing)and give the engineer the opportunity develop their career in a rapidly growing company.
As well as:
• Working on the development of the future smart grid communications platform.
• Technical contact for technical questions about the intelligent communication technologies.

Education:
University degree or equivalent in computer science / electrical engineering

Core Requirments:
• Minimum 3 years experience in communications infrastructure (protocols and access technologies)
• Experience in handling and management of optical fiber / fiber, radio and wireless communications and wireless technologies Meshed Network.
• Basic knowledge of electricity grids and interest in the subject.

General Requirements
• Project experience in multi-utility utilities (electricity, water, gas, heat) desirable.
• Good oral and written German and English.
• Must have a flexible attitude
