Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Amersfoort. The Netherlands. €45,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a young and vibrant company who are rapidly growing by building on previous success to keep up with increased project demands. They are a Dutch based manufacturer of direct drive wind turbines whose product range includes a 500KW, 900KW and a 2.3MW wind turbine

Position Overview:
You will be working out of the head office in Holland where you will be responsible for working with a leading team of engineers who are working to constantly design and improve the Mechanical components of the wind turbine

Responsibilities:-
•Create 2D and 3D drawings for the design specifications of mechanical components
•Working closely with suppliers to ensure manufacturability is completed to the highest of standards
•Provide general engineering support to internal and external teams
•Working to constantly design new innovative designs for mechanical components

Education
You will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering

Core Requirements:-
•Previous design experience for mechanical components of wind turbines, minimum 3 years.
•Experience creating 2D and 3D design drawings
•Willingness to relocate to The Netherlands where necessary
•A minimum of 3 years experience using design software SolidWorks or equivalent
•Experience working with suppliers
