Our client, a major offshore wind developer, now requires a QC Inspector for electrical components of wind turbines in Finland, Belgium and the UK.
The role
- Quality control for all main electrical components of the WTG (converter, transformer, generator, MVS)
- Completing random audits at manufacturers
- Presence during final tests and check protocol
- Check NCRs
- Inform QC inspectors in nacelle and TU/PU production
The requirements
- Demonstrable, significant previous experience as a Component Inspector / Quality Manager
- Project management experience desired
- Expert knowledge of main electrical components of the WTG (converter, transformer, generator, MVS)
- Clear understanding of technical issues commonly arising in wind industry with components
- Expert knowledge of quality, process and strong negotiation skills
- General high level competence in IT tools and methods
- German and / or English Language skills
