My Client is looking for a Senior Manager with expertise in team leadership in a policy implementation and service delivery environment. Key skills required are; Experience of renewable energy policy Understanding of the issues associated with Fuel poverty Expertise in policy development and analysis Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - especially in a cross-site environment (leading teams remotely) People management Report writing ability (not a major part of role, but effective report writing skills are essential)
The role involves; Effective administration of renewable energy scheme(s) Development of renewable energy policy proposals and programmes Oversee supplier compliance with the renewable obligation Audit strategies to monitor suppliers' compliance Develop and maintain strong relationship with environmental policy team Develop external stakeholder relationships Manage and implement legislative changes to the scheme Management responsibilities; Lead, manage and develop c10 individuals Manage an annual budget of c£2million
