My client is one of the most established and well know subsea instalation contractors who are involved in mosty of the major offshore construction projects happening worldwide. They provde specialist services to both the oil, gas and renwable enrgy industries.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
You will be responsible for managing the entire proposals phase, from the initial tender all the way through to the final signing of the contract. This is a vital role as you will be responsible for ensuring the future growth of the company through securing major subsea construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervising the initial tender phase
- Leasing with all of the relevant departments to ensure that all information is accurate
- Conducting risk assessments and initial scheduling
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors
- You will be the first point of contract with the end client
EDUCATION:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a relevant technical subject
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous working experience within a similar role, tendering and/or bid management
- Previous working experience with the subsea construction industry
- In depth understanding of risk assessments and contract management
- Willingness to relocate to The Netherlands if necessary
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
