RENEWABLE ENERGY SPECIALIST - Hydro projects
TEAM / DIVISION: Energy & Marine Team PURPOSE OF POST: To assist with the development of renewable energy projects across the North West of England / North Wales. LOCATION North Wales MAIN TASKS: Assisting with the development of renewable energy developments (including mainly hydro projects but also medium wind, solar, AD and biomass) Taking projects from initial inception through feasibility, design, planning, and construction. Working alongside an established renewable energy and environmental planning team. You will be expected to seek out new business opportunities and work within a national team of consultants Progressing renewable energy development opportunities including site negotiations. Arranging Planning Consents, Connection Agreements. Commercial analysis, budget and risk management. Undertaking feasibility studies including investment proposals. PERSON SPECIFICATION Relevant experience and achievements in the renewable energy sector Experience of developing renewable energy projects with a good technical knowledge of the industry Preferable knowledge and understanding of the constraints affecting various renewable developments Experience in the negotiation of heads of terms and option-lease agreements Good organisation skills. Enthusiastic Team Player Commercially astute Self-motivated with the drive to succeed Strong analytical and communication skill. Willingness to take on responsibilities and develop business. Full clean driving licence
